Alder Health is a family and women’s health clinic in Austin, Texas. We started with a simple idea: make it easy to get an appointment, and make the visit worth the trip.
Why we exist
Most people have put off a checkup because getting an appointment felt like work. You call, you wait, you are offered a time three weeks away, and then nobody tells you what to bring. We wanted to build the opposite.
At Alder Health, families and women can book a time online in about three minutes, see real open times at both clinics and talk to a person on the phone when that is easier. Visits are unhurried, explanations are plain and your records are yours.
What we care for
We look after children, adults and older adults across 8 kinds of care, from yearly checkups and women’s health to pediatrics, nutrition and counseling. Nine providers work across 2 clinics: physicians, nurse practitioners, a dietitian and a counselor. They share notes so you never have to repeat your story.
What we do not do
We are not an emergency room or an urgent care center. If you think you are having a medical emergency, call 911. For anything that can wait a day or two, call us, and we will find you a time.
